Here are some questions that I know a lot of people ask.
Total F.A.Q.s: 5
Q: Where do I put the layout code?
A: To put the layout code onto you xanga, you must: login into you account~on the left side, find the link that says look and feel~ click it~ go to~Header~ input your own head~ then a box should come up~ past the <u>ENTIRE</u> code in.
Q: Can I use the costum module on the look and feel page?
A: Sorry, but that's only for premium xanga users. There is a code though that can give you costum modules but that there's a down side. It erases you normal modules, so you don't have the look and feel, your subscriptions, basically all your important links. I'll put the code up soon. Comment if you have any questions cuz it's <i>very</i> tricky.
Q: Can I have you layout?
A: I'll be putting up my laayout soon.
Q: How do you make layouts?
A: A LOT of people are always wondering how people make xanga layouts. Making them isn't hard, as long as you hav Adobe photoshop and/or imageready, or jasc paintshop pro (PSP) or some other designing program. The hard part is coding it. I'll put a section up soon for the coding part, cuz depending on what you want, it'll be hard to get the results you're looking for.
Q: How do you get affiliates and other picturesand the scrollbar code, etc. into your posts? When I put the codes in, nothing happens but you see the whole code.
A: Yea, that used to happen to me. What you have to do is, at the top of your weblog entry, there's this little box and next to it, it says, edit html. Check the box. Your entry should then look like a bungh of html coding. Heres the confusing part. If you wrote al the normal text, not the codes, into you weblog entry BEFORE you you went to edit html, all the text will be there. There just might be some <br>'s or <p>'s. Just paste in your code and hit submit. it should work. The disadvantege of this, though, is that when you go to edit it again, all your cods and everything will be all jumbled up. If your still confused, just post a comment. | | |
